The company was listed on the JSE through Care Technology Limited before management completed a successful buyout.
Since then, the company has expanded its operations across Southern Africa through a strategic combination of organic growth, acquisitions, and new product introductions. Today, it represents a range of leading international suppliers and maintains a Level 2 BBBEE rating.
This growth has been supported by the establishment of the Care Technology Employee Trust, through which employees own 10% of the Care Technology Group. Management holds 40%, with the remaining share owned by Old Mutual Private Equity.
